Administrative Coordinator
Role Summary
Location: Kamloops, BC | Full-Time
Support the day-to-day operations of BC HomeShows by managing administrative processes, maintaining organized systems, coordinating communications, and assisting with event logistics. This role ensures efficient office operations while providing support for successful event delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Office Operations

Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.

Maintain organized records, files, and administrative systems.

Coordinate schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and correspondence.

Manage office supplies and general office operations.

Ensure accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality in all documentation and communications.
Event Support

Assist with exhibitor communications and event administration.

Prepare event materials, schedules, and exhibitor documentation.

Support logistics planning and coordination leading up to events.
-
Provide administrative support during event setup and execution as required.
Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline administrative processes.

Assist in maintaining consistent procedures and workflows across the organization.
Qualifications

Experience in administration, office coordination, bookkeeping, or a related role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.

Event coordination experience is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week)

Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually (final compensation based on experience and qualifications)
