Spin To Win Contest – Official Terms & Conditions


1. Contest Organizer
The Spin To Win Contest (the “Contest”) is administered by BC HomeShows Ltd. (the “Organizer”). The Organizer is responsible for the Contest and its administration. This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any third parties other than the Organizer.


2. Contest Period
The Contest will be held in person at participating Fall Home Shows operated by BC HomeShows Ltd during the posted show dates. The Contest booth will be open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays and from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sundays, during the posted show dates.


3. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of BC HomeShows Ltd. are not eligible to participate.
Any customer/vendor of BC HomeShows Ltd from 2025 are not eligible to participate.
The Organizer reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time.


4. Entry

  • No purchase necessary

  • To enter, visit the Contest booth at a participating Fall Home Show operated by BC HomeShows Ltd during posted hours and scan the QR code.

  • Each eligible participant may spin the wheel one (1) time during the Contest Period.

  • Multiple entries under the same name and/or email address will be void.

5. How to Participate

  • Eligible entrants will spin the Contest wheel for a chance to win.

  • A spin must complete at least one (1) full revolution in order to be valid.

  • Every spin results in a prize (no “losing” spins).

  • Most prizes will be small promotional items such as lollipops and branded merchandise (“swag”).

  • Certain wheel spots will award a chance to enter the Cash Cube.


6. Cash Cube Rules

  • Only one entry into the Cash Cube per qualified participant.

  • Maximum time in the cube is 20 seconds.

  • Participants may only collect bills that are in the air. Bills picked up from the floor or walls will not count.

  • Bills must be held in the contestant’s hands only and may not be concealed or stuffed into shirts, pockets, shoes, hats, or any clothing/accessories.

  • Contestants may hold bills against themselves with their hands.

  • At the end of the allotted time, all bills must be surrendered to staff for counting.

Any violation of the above rules may result in disqualification at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
Staff will be present to monitor all activity.


7. Prizes

  • The bills inside the Cash Cube are not legal tender.

  • The amount of play money collected will be converted into the equivalent value of Canadian dollars.

  • Payment will be issued via e-transfer within a reasonable time after the event (up to 10 business days).

  • Maximum prize value is $100 CAD per participant.

  • Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

In the event a selected participant declines to enter the Cash Cube, they may instead select one (1) promotional swag item of their choice, subject to availability. No cash or alternative prize substitution will be permitted.


8. Skill-Testing Question
In accordance with Canadian contest regulations, “Cash Cube” winners must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, without mechanical or other assistance, in order to claim a prize.


9. General Conditions
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or who tampers with the Contest in any way.
All decisions of the Organizer and Contest staff are final and binding.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest at any time without notice.


10. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
By participating, entrants acknowledge that the Contest involves physical activity.
Participants agree that BC HomeShows Ltd., affiliates, officers, employees, and event staff are not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation.
A separate Cash Cube Waiver must be signed before entering the Cash Cube.


11. Privacy & Communications
By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest and awarding prizes.
By providing an email address, entrants also consent to receive newsletters and promotional updates from BC HomeShows Ltd. Participants may unsubscribe at any time.
