Event & Office Operations Coordinator
Introduction
Location: Kamloops, BC | Full-Time
Bring events to life while keeping the office running smoothly!
At BC HomeShows Ltd., we create some of British Columbia’s most recognized consumer trade shows. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Event & Office Operations Coordinator who thrives on organization, enjoys working with people, and wants to play a key role in both the day-to-day office operations and the delivery of large-scale consumer events.
This is a unique opportunity to join a small, supportive team where your work makes a real impact—and where no two days look the same. One week you’ll be preparing exhibitor schedules, the next you’ll be on-site helping a show run seamlessly. If you’re looking for variety, responsibility, and growth, this could be the role for you.

Continuous Improvement
-
Review and refine internal processes to boost efficiency in both office and event operations
-
Suggest improvements to enhance the exhibitor and attendee experience
What You Bring
-
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
-
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)—you’re confident interacting with exhibitors, vendors, and teammates
-
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability, especially under event pressure
-
Experience in event coordination, trade shows, or office management is an asset
-
Education in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field is a plus
Why You’ll Love Working Here
-
Be part of a tight-knit, collaborative team where your work directly shapes the success of our events
-
Gain hands-on experience in event coordination while building a solid foundation in office management
-
Enjoy a role with variety—from office operations to onsite event execution
-
Stable full-time position with room for growth
-
Flexible vacation package, competitive salary, and opportunities to travel to event locations
-
