BC HomeShows is seeking a motivated and personable Inside Sales & Lead Generation Associate to help grow our exhibitor base and expand the reach of our well-established Home Shows across British Columbia.
This is more than just a sales role—it’s about sparking conversations, uncovering opportunities, and building relationships with businesses eager to showcase their products and services to thousands of homeowners. You’ll be supported with training, mentorship, and the chance to grow within a small, collaborative team where your contribution truly matters.
What You’ll Do

Make outbound calls and send emails to prospective exhibitors, introducing them to the benefits of participating in our shows

Engage businesses, listen to their needs, and present tailored opportunities for participation

Qualify leads, manage follow-ups, and close sales via phone and email

Build strong relationships with prospects, ensuring a positive experience from first contact onward

Track and maintain accurate records of communications and leads in our systems

Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to exceed exhibitor sales targets

Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to position our shows effectively
What You Bring

Excellent communication skills and a confident phone manner—you enjoy starting conversations and making connections

Resilience and perseverance—you’re comfortable with rejection and stay motivated in a target-driven environment

Strong listening skills and a customer-focused approach to sales

Organizational skills to manage leads, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently

Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets); CRM experience is an asset

Professionalism, integrity, and a positive, team-first attitude
Nice-to-Have Skills

Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or lead generation

Familiarity with the trade show or event industry

Knowledge of sales techniques and relationship-building strategies

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and sales approaches

Job Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week)

Salary: $22–$25/hr (depending on experience and qualifications) + sales based incentive program

Vacation: 2 weeks after first year of employment
